In 2002, I decided that someday I wanted to help stimulate local business by providing public relations services for them. So many PR companies are based out of cities that are removed from the day-to-day happenings of the communities they serve that they simply cannot understand the needs of an organization like someone local can. I decided that my focus, instead of aspiring to be a "big wig" at a fancy PR firm in the city, would be to offer quality public relations services at reasonable rates to those in my own backyard.
By 2007 the plan was firmly in motion. I began working toward a master's degree in public relations through Webster University, and completed the program at warp speed, finishing only 18 months later. It was that drive to help my neighbors that motivated me to finish the degree in such short order. Shortly before completing the degree, I had established myself in Jefferson County, WI, where I intend to remain. Located in Johnson Creek, at the intersection of Interstate 94 and Highway 26, I decided this would be the place to launch my business.
It was April 2009 when I finally began offering services. Remaining true to my roots and original plan, I am focused on assisting local businesses and non-profits, large and small, with their promotional needs.
